Pilot #2 (Fixed Wing Services)
As Pilot #2, you will serve as a co-pilot, assisting in the safe and efficient operation of our fixed-wing medical transport aircraft. You will work alongside the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies during flight operations. This position requires a high level of professionalism, teamwork, and dedication to patient care.

What You'll Do
Role and Responsibilities:

Assist the Pilot-in-Command in the preparation and execution of all flight operations in fixed-wing aircraft.

Conduct pre-flight inspections of the aircraft to ensure safety and compliance with FAA regulations.

Participate in crew briefings and debriefings to review flight plans and objectives.

Monitor flight instruments and assist in navigation during flight.

Maintain communication with air traffic control and other relevant agencies throughout the flight.

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Execute emergency procedures and protocols as required.

Participate in ongoing training and development activities to maintain proficiency and certifications.

Qualifications:
-
Must possess a valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with an instrument rating.

Minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time, with at least 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in fixed-wing aircraft.

A minimum of 100 hours of flight time in medical transport operations is preferred.

Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

Familiarity with aviation safety management systems and industry best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Willingness to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in air ambulance or medical transport utilizing fixed-wing aircraft.

Familiarity with specific aircraft utilized by Lifeguard Aeromed Inc. (e.g., Beechcraft King Air, Cessna Citation, etc.).

Additional ratings or certifications (e.g., flight instructor, type ratings) will be considered an advantage.
